One Word 2013 – vlog post

hello, 2013

Happy New Year, everyone! I’m kicking it off with a vlog (video blog) post for fun. It’s a little random, but hopefully you’ll enjoy it. Ignore my umms. And yes, I’m still fighting a little bit of a sinus infection, so ignore the slight nasal sound, too.

So you can expect more vlog posts, more creativity, more intentional living. I’m hoping to test out various pins from Pinterest this year, get into deep faith topics, and have some quirky fun. As my tagline says: Sometimes quirky, sometimes serious, always real. We can add random, too.

Here’s to a brand new year: a continuation of our life journey, a chance to accomplish new goals, and a time of seeing God move in and through ourselves, and our families.

What is your One Word for 2013?

And don’t forget to join me in awakening our creativity as we dive into The Creative Call book study!

That is such a great word. And you have encouraged me with your sweet comments. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. :)

My word is CONNECT. I get comfortable living in survival mode. Now is the time to connect more with God, my DH, my Children, my Friends, my Church.

Oh, Audra, you are just adorable! I love vlogs, I need to do them, I am so afraid of them. What an inspiration this was to watch and listen to. And what you said and your word, intentional, spoke to me. But I was ‘thrilled’ by this post. And that is my word- Thrill. Thank you and I plan to read more of your blog.

Thank you. Don’t be afraid of them, it’s a lot of fun. My first one was a book review, and I added a blooper reel to the end. This is only my second one, and I’m hoping to learn not to say umm so much, and a few other things. You should give it a go since it would definitely fit your awesome one word. :)

I finally made it over to watch your vlog!! I have had this open in a new tab for several days now. ;0)
I love your word. I almost went with “intentional” myself, but I also felt like God was trying to impress on me that he has a purpose for me this year that he’s going to reveal to me.
I, too, am great at starting things and not so great and sticking with them..I hope we can learn to kick that bad habit. 😉 Have a great year!

Thanks for visiting, Amber. This word, intentional, has been interesting so far. It’s going to be quite a journey this year. :) How exciting to see what God has in store for you. :)
