Life can hit hard. One minute things are good, we’re walking out normal days, and wham, we get knocked over. It takes courage to get back up, to move forward. Turning our faces to God in these moments can give us the strength to stand, to move forward, to do the hard things that seem impossible. Like forgiving something horrendous. Or speaking truth even though some may turn not just from it, but from you.
I have learned that at life’s most toughest moments, God is faithful. Faithful to guide, to hold, to carry, to lift up. His peace flows over you and you can find joy in the darkness. Immeasurable.
Life rubs hard. It’s rough, but through that rubbing, that exposing, God brings a high shine. A thing of beauty. A polished gem.
